KCEA

King’s Cliffe Environmental Association(KCEA) was established in January 2004 to allocate grants from landfill tax credits arising from the Augean landfill site at Kings Cliffe.

KCEA is a charity, with an executive committee of 6 representatives from Kings Cliffe who meet quarterly. KCEA works with local authorities and community organisations to deliver environmental and community benefits through giving grants to a wide range of projects.

Projects within a ten-mile radius of King’s Cliffe landfill site may apply for grants that meet the requirements for eligibility.

KCEA’s relationship with SWEET-UK

Committee meetings are held quarterly at King’s Cliffe.

SWEET-UK gives guidance to KCEA on project compliance, registers projects with the regulatory body, monitors project progress and provides financial and administrative services.

How do I go about applying to KCEA for funds?

To submit an application for LCF funds from KCEA, the KCEA Application Form must be filed in and sent to us:

Category D and E projects must also submit the KCEA  Access Statement indicating how the public will be able to make use of the site/amenity.

Category DA projects do not have to be publicly accessible, but must be aware of the criteria for eligibility contained here.

In addition to the application form and access statement, supplementary information may be required so that KCEA can make an informed decision.

Please see FAQs for details.
